Colonial Collection Alexandria

Overview

Colonial Collection Alexandria is a European oak engineered hardwood from the Colonial 9″ collection. Each plank measures 9″ wide and 5/8″ thick, with a 6mm top layer, in 7′ random lengths. Our Woodland Hills team can set it beside other Colonial colors so you can compare tone and texture. Grade: rustic; finish: UV-cured urethane; core: two-layer solid core (per Colonial Collection). Coverage is 26 sq ft per box. Visit our Woodland Hills showroom to see Alexandria in person, or request pricing and a free in-home estimate.

Specifications

Color and Appearance

Colonial Collection does not publish a written description for Alexandria, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 6mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to Colonial Collection’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.

Delivery and Pickup

Colonial Collection flooring is ordered through the distributor. Call to confirm current availability and lead time, and ask about delivery to your home or job site, or pickup from our store.

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Warranty Summary

The Colonial Collection publishes its warranty as a PDF. Colonial states warranty claims are honored only for purchases through an authorized local retailer. Read the full terms on Colonial Collection’s warranty page.
