About this floor
Colonial Collection Yorktown
Overview
From the Colonial 9″ line, Yorktown is a European oak engineered hardwood. Plank specs: 9″ wide, 5/8″ thick, 6mm top layer, 7′ random lengths. If you are weighing several Colonial options, our staff can walk you through how this one differs. Bring your room measurements to the showroom and we can talk through layout, transitions and trims. It is listed with finish UV-cured urethane, core two-layer solid core (per Colonial Collection). Coverage is 26 sq ft per box.
Color and Appearance
Colonial Collection does not publish a written description for Yorktown, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 6mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.
