Andover: rustic Colonial oak in a mid-width plank

Andover belongs to the Colonial Collection's 7-1/2″ line. It pairs a rustic, smoked/stained European oak with a generous 6mm wear layer, in a width that suits bedrooms and smaller rooms as well as living areas.

Look and design

Rustic grading means knots and color movement are expected, and the smoked/stained treatment colors the oak throughout. Random lengths up to 6-1/3′ keep joints staggered. Colonial publishes no color description for Andover, so compare it beside the 9″ Colonial colors to judge width and tone together.

Construction and specs

The 5/8″ plank has a 6mm European oak wear layer over a two-layer solid core, as Colonial describes it, and a UV-cured urethane finish. Each box covers 19.43 sq ft. Stair nosing, T-molding, threshold, reducer and quarter round come in matching finishes.
