Pebble Beach: wire-brushed European oak from the Oasis Carmel collection

Pebble Beach is a 7-1/2″ wide European oak engineered hardwood in Oasis Wood Flooring's Carmel collection. It is for homeowners who want real oak with visible texture and a light, natural feel rather than a glossy, uniform floor.

Look and design

Oasis lists the surface as wire-brushed, which opens the oak's grain so you can feel it underfoot. In our product photo, Pebble Beach is a light sandy tone with pale grain lines picked out by the brushing, and the cathedral patterns of the oak show clearly. Planks come in random lengths up to 6′, so the floor never looks like a repeating print. Because it is real wood, every plank is different; see it in person before you decide, as screens change color.

Construction

The planks are 9/16″ thick with an engineered build: a real European oak surface over a layered core. Oasis lists three installation methods (float, nail down or glue), which gives us options for both wood subfloors and concrete slabs. Each carton covers 23.31 sq ft.

Where it works best

Living and dining rooms, bedrooms, hallways and home offices. Over a concrete slab, it can be glued down or floated after a moisture test. Planning a kitchen? Ask us and we'll check the room first.
