SLCC Villa Chambers

Overview

From SLCC Flooring’s Villa line, Chambers is a European oak engineered hardwood. On our spec table, Chambers is 10.25″ wide, 4mm top layer; 84″ random lengths. Installation: floating, glue down, nail down. It is listed with surface wire brushed, edge 4-side rolled bevel. Coverage is 24.63 sq ft per box. Engineered construction puts a real-wood top layer over a cross-layered core, so it moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity. Manufacturer item number: E-VC-OCHE-CB. See Chambers at our Woodland Hills showroom at 21030 Victory Blvd, or ask us for pricing and availability.

Color and Appearance

SLCC does not publish a written description for Chambers, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to SLCC’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.

• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.
