From SLCC Flooring’s Villa line, Valence is a European oak engineered hardwood. On our spec table, Valence is 10.25″ wide, #, 5/8″ thick, 4mm top layer; 84″ random lengths. Install options: floating, glue down, nail down. Details: surface: wire brushed; edge: 4-side rolled bevel. Each box covers 24.63 sq ft. Engineered construction puts a real-wood top layer over a cross-layered core, so it moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity. - Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.
