Color and Appearance

SLCC does not publish a written description for Helios, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 3mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to SLCC’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.

Delivery and Pickup

SLCC flooring is ordered through the distributor. Call to confirm current availability and lead time, and ask about delivery to your home or job site, or pickup from our store.

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Warranty Summary

SLCC lists 25yr Limited Residential Wear; 3yr Commercial Warranty. Coverage depends on proper installation, care and use. Read the full terms on SLCC’s warranty page.
