About this floor
SLCC Milky Way Select Galia
Overview
SLCC Milky Way Select Galia is a European oak engineered hardwood from SLCC Flooring’s Milky Way Select collection. Milky Way Select sits within SLCC’s Milky Way family, real hardwood veneers on a stable layered core in a night-sky-inspired palette. Each plank measures 9.5″ wide and 5/8″ thick, with a 4mm top layer, in 84″ random lengths. It is listed with grade AB, surface wire brushed, finish UV Lacquer, edge micro-beveled, core cross plywood. It can be installed by floating, glue down, nail down. Each box covers 34.11 sq ft. Manufacturer item number: E-MW-OWID-GL. Call for pricing and availability, or request a free in-home estimate.
Color and Appearance
SLCC does not publish a written description for Galia, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.
