Medieval Nouvelle Sand Dune

Overview

Medieval Nouvelle Sand Dune is an engineered hardwood from Medieval Floors’ Nouvelle collection. Medieval Floors positions Nouvelle as its cleanest-grade engineered floor, with fewer natural knots and grain irregularities than character grades. Our Woodland Hills team can set it beside other Medieval colors so you can compare tone and texture. Our team can also plan the subfloor prep and installation details for your rooms. Grade: select (minimal knots and sapwood). Compare Sand Dune with other Medieval colors in our Woodland Hills showroom, and call for pricing and availability.

Color and Appearance

Medieval does not publish a written description for Sand Dune, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The top layer can be screened and recoated to refresh the finish.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to Medieval’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.

Delivery and Pickup

Medieval flooring is ordered through the distributor. Call to confirm current availability and lead time, and ask about delivery to your home or job site, or pickup from our store.

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Warranty Summary

Medieval Floors publishes its warranty terms in its resources section. Ask us for the current warranty before you order. Read the full terms on Medieval’s warranty page.

Can I see this floor in person before I buy?

Yes. Ask us to set aside a sample at our Woodland Hills showroom, or request a free in-home estimate and we will bring samples so you can see the color in your own light.

Engineered hardwood can usually be glued down or floated over a dry, flat slab after a moisture test. We check your subfloor during the estimate and follow Medieval’s installation guidelines.

Wood is a natural material. Color, grain and character vary from board to board, and screens and lighting change how a floor looks. Please contact us or visit our Woodland Hills showroom to see it in person before ordering.
