Color and Appearance
A light, natural white oak with a cerused (whitewashed) treatment that settles into the open grain, giving the surface soft depth without looking painted. Light Character grade allows some natural knots and grain variation, so the floor reads as real wood rather than a uniform surface.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real oak wear layer with a cross-layered plywood core. The core is more stable than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes, and the 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.
Available Options
Oak Farini is part of Bergamo’s 7.5″ Light Character line, alongside colors such as Turin, Sorrento, Capri, Mondovi, Usini, Oliveto, Pisa, Tramonto and Modena.
Installation
Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, allow the boards to acclimate, and choose a glue-down, nail-down or floating method that suits your subfloor. Bergamo has not published approved installation methods for each product, so we confirm them with the distributor before your install. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.
Delivery and Pickup
Bergamo flooring is typically ordered through the distributor. Call to confirm current availability and lead time, and ask about delivery to your home or job site, or pickup from our store.

Care
- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for polyurethane-finished wood. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady. Very dry air can cause small seasonal gaps.
Bergamo’s finish warranty requires following NWFA care guidance.
