Somerset Color Plank Gunstock is a white oak solid hardwood floor from Somerset’s Color Plank collection, with a semi gloss, smooth factory finish. The solid version is 3/4″ thick in 4″, 5″ widths; the SolidPLUS engineered version is 1/2″ thick in 3-1/4″, 5″ widths.

Somerset does not publish a written description for Gunstock, so we recommend seeing a sample in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Solid hardwood is one piece of wood from top to bottom, so it can be sanded and refinished many times over its life. It is nailed or stapled over a wood subfloor and is not recommended directly over concrete. Somerset also makes this color as SolidPLUS engineered flooring, a multi-ply engineered board that is more stable and can go over a slab.
