SLCC Villa Valence

Overview

From SLCC Flooring’s Villa line, Valence is a European oak engineered hardwood. On our spec table, Valence is 10.25″ wide, #, 5/8″ thick, 4mm top layer; 84″ random lengths. Install options: floating, glue down, nail down. Details: surface: wire brushed; edge: 4-side rolled bevel. Each box covers 24.63 sq ft. Engineered construction puts a real-wood top layer over a cross-layered core, so it moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity. Color and Appearance

SLCC does not publish a written description for Valence, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to SLCC’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.
