SLCC Celeste Herringbone Bordeaux

Overview

Bordeaux is one of the colors in SLCC Flooring’s Celeste Herringbone collection, made as a European oak engineered hardwood. On our spec table, Bordeaux is 6″ wide, 5/8″ thick, 3mm top layer; lengths of 36″. Details: surface: brushed; finish: Water Based Lacquer; core: plywood. Installation: floating, glue down, nail down. Coverage is 11.63 sq ft per box. Engineered construction puts a real-wood top layer over a cross-layered core, so it moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity. Manufacturer item number: E-CHV-BOO. Compare Bordeaux with other SLCC colors in our Woodland Hills showroom, and call for pricing and availability.

Color and Appearance

SLCC does not publish a written description for Bordeaux, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 3mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to SLCC’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.
