Specifications

Color and Appearance

California Classics does not publish a written description for Courbet, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to California Classics’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.

California Classics flooring is ordered through the distributor. Call to confirm current availability and lead time, and ask about delivery to your home or job site, or pickup from our store.

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Warranty Summary

California Classics lists a 50-year residential finish warranty, a 5-year commercial finish warranty and a lifetime structural warranty for this collection. Coverage has conditions and exclusions. California Classics does not honor warranty claims for floors bought over the internet; buy through an authorized retailer like our showroom.
