Medieval Nouvelle Pyla Oasis

Overview

Medieval Nouvelle Pyla Oasis is an engineered hardwood from Medieval Floors’ Nouvelle collection. Nouvelle is Medieval Floors’ premium engineered line, selected for few knots, little sapwood and even grain. Bring your room measurements to the showroom and we can talk through layout, transitions and trims. Our Woodland Hills team can set it beside other Medieval colors so you can compare tone and texture. Grade: select (minimal knots and sapwood). Color and Appearance

Medieval does not publish a written description for Pyla Oasis, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The top layer can be screened and recoated to refresh the finish.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to Medieval’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.

Delivery and Pickup

Medieval flooring is ordered through the distributor. Call to confirm current availability and lead time, and ask about delivery to your home or job site, or pickup from our store.

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Warranty Summary

Medieval Floors publishes its warranty terms in its resources section. Ask us for the current warranty before you order. Read the full terms on Medieval’s warranty page.
