Reward Avalon Barant

Overview

From Reward Flooring’s Avalon line, Barant is a European oak engineered hardwood. Each Avalon plank is real wood, so the floor shows natural variation and rustic character instead of a repeating printed pattern. Size: 7-1/2″ wide, 3/8″ thick, 1.5mm top layer; random lengths 16″-82″. Grade: rustic; surface: wire-brushed; finish: UV. Install options: glue down, nail + glue, float. Engineered construction puts a real-wood top layer over a cross-layered core, so it moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity. Manufacturer item number: REW3875AVBR. Compare Barant with other Reward colors in our Woodland Hills showroom, and call for pricing and availability.

Color and Appearance

Reward does not publish a written description for Barant, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The top layer can be screened and recoated to refresh the finish.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to Reward’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.
