Overview
From Reward Flooring’s Avalon line, Percival is a European oak engineered hardwood. Each Avalon plank is real wood, so the floor shows natural variation and rustic character instead of a repeating printed pattern. It is listed with grade rustic, surface wire-brushed, finish UV. On our spec table, Percival is 7-1/2″ wide, 3/8″ thick, 1.5mm top layer; random lengths 16″-82″. Install options: glue down, nail + glue, float. Manufacturer item number: REW3875AVPV. Reward does not publish a written description for Percival, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The top layer can be screened and recoated to refresh the finish.

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to Reward's published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.
Care
- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.
