Overview

Cuva 4 is one of the colors in Hennessy’s Supreme collection, made as a French Oak engineered hardwood. Supreme is natural-grade French oak in 9-inch planks with a 4 mm top veneer and lengths up to 75 inches; expect more color variation, knots and grain than a select grade, with a light wire brush and micro-bevelled edges. Plank size: 9″ wide, 5/8″ thick, 4mm top layer. Length: 75″ random lengths. Grade: premium; finish: Everlust UV lacquer. Boxes cover 23.51 sq ft. Manufacturer item number: F2029E36. Hennessy does not publish a written description for Cuva 4, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Installation

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Warranty Summary

Hennessy Wood Floors provides a lifetime limited residential finish warranty: the finish is warranted not to wear through under normal use for the life of the product. It applies to the original purchaser, requires installation to Hennessy’s instructions including a subfloor moisture test, and has other conditions and exclusions.
