Artisan Legacy Bourbon

Overview

Artisan Legacy Bourbon is a maple engineered hardwood floor from Artisan Hardwood’s Legacy collection. It has a 3 mm real-wood top layer, 9/16″ overall, in 6-1/2″ wide planks in random lengths up to 6′.

Specifications

Color and Appearance

Artisan does not publish a written description for Bourbon, so we recommend seeing a sample in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 3 mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to Artisan’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Warranty Summary

Artisan Hardwood lists Residential and Commercial Warranties. Coverage depends on proper installation, care and use. Read the full terms on Artisan’s warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Artisan Legacy Bourbon cost?

We quote Artisan flooring by project, because the final price depends on square footage, current distributor pricing and whether you need installation. Call (818) 963-0878 or use the form below for current pricing and availability.

Can I see a sample before I buy?

Yes. Ask us to set aside a sample at our Woodland Hills showroom, or request a free in-home estimate and we will bring samples so you can see the color in your own light.

Can it go over concrete?

Engineered hardwood can usually be glued down or floated over a dry, flat slab after a moisture test. We check your subfloor during the estimate and follow Artisan’s installation guidelines.

Do you install Artisan flooring?

Yes. Our installers handle subfloor checks, moisture testing, acclimation, installation and finishing details.

Wood is a natural material. Color, grain and character vary from board to board and from samples; screens and lighting change how a floor looks. Please view a physical sample before ordering.
