About this floor
Bergamo Oak Turin
Oak Turin: Italian-made white oak from Bergamo's Core collection
Oak Turin is part of Bergamo Floors' Core collection and is produced in Italy, where Bergamo pairs hand finishing with machining and inspects each run up to 11 times. It is a fit for buyers who want to know exactly where their floor comes from.
Look and design
We describe Turin's color as an earthy, neutral oak, and its fillers are chosen to disappear into the grain rather than stand out as dark spots. The light character grade allows some natural marks. A matte, brushed polyurethane keeps sheen low; long edges carry a micro bevel while the ends are cut square. Lengths vary up to 92.5″ (2350mm).
Construction and specs
Turin measures 7.5″ wide and 15mm (5/8″) deep. Its wear surface is 4mm of white oak, glued to a cross-bonded Baltic birch plywood core of many plies. Bergamo backs the finish for 50 years residential and 10 years commercial, with a lifetime structural warranty. Ultra, Premio, Bene and Chevron Corta versions of Turin also exist.
Where it works best
Neutral-toned living rooms, dining rooms, bedrooms, halls and studies.
Installed by our own crews
Bergamo publishes neither install methods nor radiant-heat guidance, so we confirm both against your subfloor before an order is placed. See our hardwood flooring installation, more Bergamo floors, or the European white oak collection.

Care & installation
Install, care & delivery
Installation
Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, allow the boards to acclimate, and choose a glue-down, nail-down or floating method that suits your subfloor. Bergamo has not published approved installation methods for each product, so we confirm them with the distributor before your install. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.
Care
- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for polyurethane-finished wood. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady. Very dry air can cause small seasonal gaps.
Delivery & warranty
Bergamo flooring is typically ordered through the distributor. Call to confirm current availability and lead time. Delivery available, charged separately based on job site location and project size.
Warranty.
Bergamo warrants the surface finish for 50 years in residential use and 10 years in commercial use, plus a lifetime structural warranty. Coverage is for the original purchaser, requires installation by a licensed flooring contractor and NWFA care, excludes stairs from the wear-through coverage, and applies trade allowances (5% for milling and grading, 10% for finish wear). Moisture, humidity and installation-related damage are not covered. Read the full terms on Bergamo's warranty page.
