European White Oak Hardwood Floors in Woodland Hills
European white oak has become the default choice for luxury remodels across Los Angeles, and it is the single largest category in our Woodland Hills showroom — 275 white oak products on the floor and in our catalog. Wide planks, European-inspired colors and long boards suit open-plan homes, and they photograph well, which is why designers and builders keep specifying them.
Current promotion: 7.5″ engineered European white oak at $3.49 per square foot, material only. Installation is quoted separately after a free in-home measure. You can buy the material on its own, or have our crews install it.

Plank widths
Wide planks are most of the appeal: fewer seams across a room reads as calmer and more spacious. European white oak is commonly available in:
- 7.5″ · 8″ · 9.5″ · 10″ · 10.25″ · 13″ wide planks
Custom widths can be manufactured for a specific project. Ask us before you commit to a width — in smaller rooms a very wide plank can work against you, and we would rather say so up front.
Colors and custom stains
The range runs from light white and cream tones through warm natural browns to deep, near-black modern finishes. Custom stains are available, and we can match to a cabinet door or trim sample — bring one into the showroom and we will hold it against the real boards under real light. Colors photograph unreliably; this is the part worth doing in person.
Prime grade or character grade
Prime grade boards have few knots and an even, clean look that suits modern interiors. Character grade shows more knots and natural variation for a warmer, rustic feel. Both are available in wide planks and in herringbone, and we keep samples of each in the showroom so you can compare them side by side.
Thickness, wear layer and board length
Construction matters as much as color, and it is where cheap flooring gives itself away.
- Overall thickness: 1/2″, 9/16″, 5/8″ and 3/4″ profiles
- Wear layer: 2mm, 4mm and 6mm options — the wear layer determines whether the floor can be refinished later, and how many times
- Board length: up to 6, 7, 8 and even 10 foot boards for a more seamless look
A thicker wear layer costs more up front and is usually the better long-term buy, because it is what lets you refinish rather than replace in ten years.
Installation
We install what we sell. Our hardwood installation work covers:
- Floor demolition and haul-away
- Subfloor preparation and moisture checks
- Glue-down installation over concrete slabs and nail-down installation over raised wood subfloors
- Custom staircases with matching treads, risers and stair nosing
- Complete flooring remodels
We also carry solid hardwood, herringbone patterns and engineered hardwood in other species. Browse the full range on our hardwood flooring category page.
