Oak Sorrento: Bergamo white oak with a warm undertone
Oak Sorrento is a color in Bergamo Floors' Core collection, a European white oak engineered floor made in Italy. Bergamo designs and makes its floors in-house, with up to 11 quality checks per production run.
Look and design
Our page describes Sorrento as a warm oak with a subtle pinkish undertone, which sets it apart from typical beige and gray floors. Bergamo grades it light character, and the matte polyurethane is brushed. Long sides are micro-beveled and ends are square; boards run in random lengths up to 92.5″ (2350mm). Sorrento also comes as a 9.5″ Bene version.
Construction and specs
Sorrento shares Bergamo's Core build: 4mm of white oak over Baltic birch plywood, 15mm in total, 7.5″ across. Warranty terms from Bergamo run 50 years on the residential finish, 10 years commercial, and lifetime on structure.

Installation
Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, allow the boards to acclimate, and choose a glue-down, nail-down or floating method that suits your subfloor. Bergamo has not published approved installation methods for each product, so we confirm them with the distributor before your install. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.
Care
- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for polyurethane-finished wood. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady. Very dry air can cause small seasonal gaps.
Delivery & warranty
Bergamo flooring is typically ordered through the distributor. Call to confirm current availability and lead time. Delivery available, charged separately based on job site location and project size.
Warranty.
Bergamo warrants the surface finish for 50 years in residential use and 10 years in commercial use, plus a lifetime structural warranty. Coverage is for the original purchaser, requires installation by a licensed flooring contractor and NWFA care, excludes stairs from the wear-through coverage, and applies trade allowances (5% for milling and grading, 10% for finish wear).
