Savona Herringbone: Timbertop oak in a classic zigzag

Savona Herringbone is the herringbone format in Urban Floor's Timbertop collection. Its pieces are 4-3/4″ wide and 33-1/16″ long, sized for a traditional herringbone in living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan spaces.

Look and design

Urban Floor's spec calls for a matte look with moderate color variation, brushed with wire, and finished with micro-bevelled edges. In herringbone, the brushing and bevels emphasize the pattern's crisp angles.

Construction and specs

Pieces stand 13/16″ tall: a 6mm oak wear surface bonded to Urban Floor's cross-finger core and sealed with Bona Natural UV urethane. A carton holds just 8.68 sq ft, and herringbone cutting adds waste, so we size the order with extra. Urban Floor rates it for medium foot traffic and gives a 35-year finish warranty.

Where it works best

Living rooms, bedrooms and open-plan spaces, per Urban Floor's medium-traffic rating. Glue-down is listed, so a slab is possible after a moisture test.
