RIVA Spain Elite Cotton

Overview

RIVA Spain Elite Cotton is an engineered European white oak floor made in Spain by RIVA. It has a 4mm oak top layer over a plywood core, 5/8″ thick overall, with a Bona UV-cured matte lacquer. The planks are 8″ wide in mixed lengths from 6′ to 8′.

Specifications

Color and Grade

Cotton is one of 12 colors in the RIVA Elite collection. RIVA does not publish a written description for each color, so we recommend seeing a sample before you choose. RIVA Elite comes in two grades. Prime is selected for a clean, even surface with very few small knots. Character shows natural knots, livelier grain and more color movement from board to board. We can show you both side by side.

Construction

The 4mm top layer is thick enough to sand and refinish in the future, and the cross-layered plywood core keeps the floor stable through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes.

Available Options

RIVA Elite also comes in Pearl, Mercury, Crystal, Sand, Smoke, Earth, Amber, Krypton, Gray, Cigar, Black. The same colors come in other widths across RIVA’s MAX (10″), Elite (8″) and Metro (6-3/4″) collections.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does RIVA Spain Elite Cotton cost?

Can I see a sample before I buy?

Yes. Ask us to set aside a sample at our Woodland Hills showroom, or request a free in-home estimate and we will bring samples so you can see the color in your own light.

Which grade should I choose?

Prime reads calmer and more modern; Character hides everyday wear better and feels more rustic. Seeing both in your own light is the easiest way to decide.

Do you install RIVA flooring?

Yes. Our installers handle subfloor checks, acclimation, installation and finishing details.

Wood is a natural material. Color, grain and character vary from board to board and from samples; screens and lighting change how a floor looks. Please view a physical sample before ordering.
