About this floor
Johnson Hardwood Vortis Aspen Lincoln
Overview
Lincoln is one of the colors in Johnson Hardwood’s Vortis Aspen collection, made as an WPC vinyl plank flooring. Vortis Aspen is a water-resistant WPC floor with an 8 mm overall thickness, 20-mil wear layer, wide 9.37-inch planks, embossed texture and a softly pillowed edge. Johnson describes Lincoln as having a dark color tone, medium variation from plank to plank and a low gloss level. Dimensions: 9.37″ wide, 8mm thick (6.5mm WPC Core + 1.5mm Pad), 20 Mil Wear Layer wear layer. Length: 60″ (5′ Nominal). Surface: embossed; finish: 20 mil wear layer; edge: pressed / pillow edge. Installation: valinge 2g. Where it can go: on-grade, above-grade and below-grade (per Johnson). Johnson lists a limited lifetime residential warranty. Manufacturer item number: VT-WPC-ASP23806. Visit our Woodland Hills showroom to see Lincoln in person, or request pricing and availability.
Color and Appearance
Johnson lists Lincoln as a dark color tone with medium color variation between planks, and a embossed surface. Johnson does not publish a written color description, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide.
Construction
WPC vinyl is fully synthetic, so it is not affected by humidity the way wood is. The thicker WPC core and attached pad help with sound and comfort, which is useful for upstairs rooms and condos.
