Overview

Johnson Hardwood Vortis Aspen Glenwood is a WPC (wood-plastic composite) vinyl plank from Johnson Hardwood’s Vortis line. The WPC core is a little softer and warmer underfoot than SPC, and the plank measures 8mm (6.5mm WPC Core + 1.5mm Pad) overall. Planks are 9.37″ wide and 60″ long.

Johnson lists Glenwood as a light color tone with medium color variation between planks, and a embossed surface. Johnson does not publish a written color description, so we recommend seeing a sample in our showroom or at home before you decide.

Construction

WPC vinyl is fully synthetic, so it is not affected by humidity the way wood is. The thicker WPC core and attached pad help with sound and comfort, which is useful for upstairs rooms and condos.

• Damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid steam mops, wax and oil soaps.
• Wipe up spills promptly, even on water-resistant floors.
• Use felt pads under furniture and avoid rubber-backed mats, which can discolor vinyl.
