About this floor
Opus Genoa
Overview
From the Opus Hardwood line, Genoa is a European oak engineered hardwood. Each plank measures 8-3/4″ wide and 5/8″ thick, with a 4mm top layer, in 7-1/3′ random lengths. Bring your room measurements to the showroom and we can talk through layout, transitions and trims. Each box covers 31.26 sq ft. It is listed with grade light rustic, finish UV-cured urethane. Manufacturer item number: OPUS9G4. Compare Genoa with other Opus colors in our Woodland Hills showroom, and call for pricing and availability.
Color and Appearance
Opus does not publish a written description for Genoa, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.
