Color and Appearance

A light, natural oak tone in a short chevron board, for a finer-scale V pattern than the standard chevron.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered plywood core. It is more stable than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes, and the 4mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

Available Options

The Turin color also comes as: Oak Turin (7.5″, Light Character); Oak Turin Ultra (7.5″, Prime); Oak Turin Premio (9.5″, Prime); Oak Turin Bene (9.5″, Light Character). See all Bergamo floors.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, allow the boards to acclimate, and choose a glue-down, nail-down or floating method that suits your subfloor. Bergamo has not published approved installation methods for each product, so we confirm them with the distributor before your install. Pattern floors take extra layout time, and we plan the starting point and borders during your estimate. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.

Delivery and Pickup

Bergamo flooring is typically ordered through the distributor. Call to confirm current availability and lead time, and ask about delivery to your home or job site, or pickup from our store.

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for polyurethane-finished wood. Never wet-mop or steam.
• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady. Very dry air can cause small seasonal gaps.

Warranty Summary

Bergamo warrants the surface finish for 50 years in residential use and 10 years in commercial use, plus a lifetime structural warranty. Coverage is for the original purchaser, requires installation by a licensed flooring contractor and NWFA care, excludes stairs from the wear-through coverage, and applies trade allowances (5% for milling and grading, 10% for finish wear). Moisture, humidity and installation-related damage are not covered. Read the full terms on Bergamo’s warranty page.
