Description

Overview

Sisu is one of the colors in Johnson Hardwood’s Vortis Norden Home collection, made as an WPC vinyl plank flooring. Vortis Norden Home draws on Scandinavian design: a water-resistant WPC core, 12 mm thickness, 30-mil wear layer, 8.85-inch planks with embossed-in-register texture and a Välinge 5G locking system. Johnson lists Sisu with a light color tone, medium variation from plank to plank and a low gloss level. Plank size: 8.85″ wide, 12mm thick (10.5mm WPC Core + 1.5mm Pad), 30 Mil Wear Layer wear layer. Length: 72″ (6′ Nominal). Surface: registered embossing (EIR); finish: 30 mil wear layer; edge: beveled edge. It can be installed by valinge 5g dry. Where it can go: on-grade, above-grade and below-grade (per Johnson). Johnson lists a limited lifetime residential warranty. Manufacturer item number: VT-WPC-NH22502. See Sisu at our Woodland Hills showroom, or ask us for pricing and availability.

Color and Appearance

Johnson lists Sisu as a light color tone with medium color variation between planks, and a registered embossing surface. Registered embossing means the texture follows the printed grain, so knots and grain lines feel real, not just look real. Johnson does not publish a written color description, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide.

Construction

WPC vinyl is fully synthetic, so it is not affected by humidity the way wood is. The thicker WPC core and attached pad help with sound and comfort, which is useful for upstairs rooms and condos.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness and install to the manufacturer’s guidelines. Johnson lists these methods: Valinge 5G Dry. Learn more about our flooring installation.

Care

Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly.
Damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid steam mops, wax and oil soaps.
Wipe up spills promptly, even on water-resistant floors.
Use felt pads under furniture and avoid rubber-backed mats, which can discolor vinyl.

Warranty Summary

Johnson lists this floor with a Limited Lifetime Residential warranty. Warranty coverage depends on proper installation, care and use, and has exclusions. Read the full terms on Johnson Hardwood’s warranty page.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does Johnson Hardwood Vortis Norden Home Sisu cost?

We quote Johnson Hardwood flooring by project, because the final price depends on square footage, current distributor pricing and whether you need installation. Call (818) 963-0878 or use the form below for current pricing and availability.

Can I see this floor in person before I buy?

Yes. See it in person at our Woodland Hills showroom.

Is it waterproof?

The vinyl planks themselves are not damaged by water, but water can still get under the floor at edges and seams. Check the warranty terms for exact coverage, and ask us about bathrooms and laundry rooms.

Do you install Johnson Hardwood flooring?

Yes. Our installers handle subfloor checks, acclimation, installation, trim and transitions.

Printed and embossed floors repeat their visuals across planks, and colors can differ between production runs; screens and lighting change how a floor looks. Please contact us or visit our Woodland Hills showroom to see it in person before ordering.
