Granville: Mediterranean French oak for lived-in homes
Granville is a California Classics Mediterranean color, an 8″ French oak engineered plank. It is aimed at busy households that want real oak with a surface that doesn't show every mark.
Look and design
Mediterranean boards are wire-brushed with lightly distressed edges and ends, and the oak is double-smoked before finishing. That texture and the softened edges break up light scratches and dust, so the floor keeps an easygoing, worn-in look as it ages. The color isn't described in writing by California Classics, so see Granville in person.
Construction and specs
The plank measures 9/16″ thick with a 4mm French oak top layer, in 75″ lengths with 75% long boards. California Classics builds up 8 coats of aluminum-oxide enhanced Valspar urethane in a low gloss. Item number MCGV490.
