California Classics Mediterranean Levant

Levant: Mediterranean oak for rooms with character

Levant is part of the California Classics Mediterranean collection, an 8″ French oak engineered plank. It suits homes with beams, stone or wrought iron details, where a pristine floor would look out of place.

Look and design

The collection's process gives Levant its aged surface: the oak is double-smoked, lightly scraped and wire-brushed, and the edges and ends are carved by hand. Up close, plank borders look softened, almost like reclaimed boards. There is no written color description from California Classics, so judge the tone in person.

Construction and specs

Planks are 9/16″ with a 4mm French oak top layer and 75″ lengths (75% long boards). California Classics uses a low-gloss Valspar urethane fortified with aluminum oxide, eight coats deep. Item MCLV018.

Where it works best

Living rooms, dining rooms, dens, bedrooms and halls.

Installed by our licensed flooring contractor team

The spec doesn't list an install method, so our crews confirm it after inspecting your subfloor and checking moisture. They pay attention to stone or tile transitions, where carved edges need a clean finish.
