Teodoro: the wide 9.5″ version of California Classics Mediterranean
Teodoro comes from the Mediterranean 9.5 line by California Classics, which takes the double-smoked French oak of the Mediterranean collection and widens it to 9.5″ with longer boards. It suits large rooms where an 8″ plank would look busy.
Look and design
The oak is double-smoked to age the grain, then wire-brushed, with lightly distressed edges and ends. Boards measure 86.6″ long, and 75% of them are long boards, so a big room shows few end joints. California Classics does not publish a written description of Teodoro's color; see it in person.
Construction and specs
The plank is 5/8″ thick with a 4mm French oak top layer. California Classics applies 8 coats of aluminum-oxide enhanced Valspar urethane in a low gloss. A box covers 34.10 sq ft. Item number MCBY371. The brushed, distressed surface is forgiving of small scuffs.
