SLCC Karuna Metta is a hickory engineered hardwood floor from SLCC Flooring’s Karuna collection. It has a 2mm real-wood top layer, in 7.5″ wide planks up to 36″ – 72″ long.

Color and Appearance

SLCC does not publish a written description for Metta, so we recommend seeing a sample in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The top layer can be screened and recoated to refresh the finish.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to SLCC’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Yes. Our installers handle subfloor checks, moisture testing, acclimation, installation and finishing details.
