About this floor
RIVA Spain Elite Earth
Overview
RIVA Spain Elite Earth is a European white oak engineered hardwood from RIVA Spain’s RIVA Elite collection. RIVA Elite sits in the middle of the range at 8 inches wide, pairing European white oak with precise engineering for homes and boutique commercial spaces. Each plank measures 8″ wide and 5/8″ thick, with a 4mm (nominal) top layer, in lengths of 6′, 6.5′, 7.2′ and 8′. Details: grade: prime or character; finish: Bona® UV matte lacquer; core: marine-grade phenolic birch plywood, 12mm. Made in Spain. Each box covers 15.75 (6′ boards) · 17.5 (6.5′) · 19.22 (7.2′) · 21.41 (8′) sq ft.
Color and Grade
Earth is one of 12 colors in the RIVA Elite collection. RIVA does not publish a written description for each color, so we recommend seeing it in person before you choose. RIVA Elite comes in two grades. Prime is selected for a clean, even surface with very few small knots. Character shows natural knots, livelier grain and more color movement from board to board. We can show you both side by side.
Construction
The 4mm top layer is thick enough to sand and refinish in the future, and the cross-layered plywood core keeps the floor stable through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes.
Available Options
RIVA Elite also comes in Pearl, Cotton, Mercury, Crystal, Sand, Smoke, Amber, Krypton, Gray, Cigar, Black. The same colors come in other widths across RIVA’s MAX (10″), Elite (8″) and Metro (6-3/4″) collections.
