About this floor
Monarch Plank La Grande Nendaz
Overview
From Monarch Plank’s La Grande line, Nendaz is a European oak engineered hardwood. Monarch Plank’s La Grande collection uses 11-3/8-inch planks and a thick 6 mm wear layer that lasts as long as a solid floor. Each plank measures 11-3/8″ wide and 25/32″ thick, with a 6 mm top layer, in lengths of 10′. Details: grade: rustic; surface: smooth; finish: Bona® UV Urethane, ultra-matte. It can be installed by glue-down, nail + glue, float. Manufacturer item number: MON341138LANN. Compare Nendaz with other Monarch colors in our Woodland Hills showroom, and call for pricing and availability.
Color and Appearance
Nendaz has a smooth surface and a smoked and reactive-stained color treatment, with a ultra-matte finish. Monarch Plank does not publish a written description for this color, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 6 mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.
