Overview
Monarch Plank La Grande Grenoble is a European oak engineered hardwood from Monarch Plank’s La Grande collection. La Grande builds on Domaine II with even wider, longer boards, the same premium construction and a 6 mm wear layer under ultra-matte Bona urethane. Each plank measures 11-3/8″ wide and 25/32″ thick, with a 6 mm top layer, in lengths of 10′. Details: grade: rustic; surface: soft hand-scrape; finish: Bona® UV Urethane, ultra-matte. Color and Appearance
Grenoble has a soft hand-scrape surface and a reactive-stained color treatment, with a ultra-matte finish. Monarch Plank does not publish a written description for this color, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 6 mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.
