About this floor
Vellichor Metropolitan Marseille
Marseille: wide Vellichor Metropolitan oak
Marseille is in Vellichor's Metropolitan collection, its wide engineered line. At 9-1/2″ wide and 87″ long, it gives open rooms a clean, uncluttered floor with fewer seams.
Look and design
The face is wire-brushed, so the grain has a light texture you can feel. Long 87″ random lengths keep end joints few and far apart. Vellichor publishes no written color description for Marseille; see it in person.
Construction and specs
Each plank is 3/4″ thick with a 4mm European oak top layer and a PPG aluminum-oxide UV lacquer. Boxes cover 28.42 sq ft. Item VC-105.
Where it works best
Open-plan living and dining rooms, bedrooms, long hallways and home offices.
Installed by our own crews
The spec lists no install method, so our crews confirm one for your subfloor. Long, wide boards need a flat base; they check and correct dips before laying the first row. See our hardwood flooring installation, more Vellichor floors, or Vellichor Prime III.
