Vellichor Prime III
Prime III: the everyday width in Vellichor's Prime range
Vellichor's Prime collection is unusual: each color comes in its own board size, while the oak face and finish never change. Prime III lands on 7-1/2″, a width that sits comfortably in a 12-foot bedroom or a long living room alike.
Look and design
Brushing with wire gives Prime III a gently raised grain that hides the odd scuff. Boards are cut to random lengths topping out at 75″, so joints scatter instead of stacking. Vellichor has not written color notes for it; set a board beside its twin, Prime IV, and choose by eye.
Construction and specs
Vellichor builds it 3/4″ overall. The upper 4mm is European oak, sealed under PPG's UV-cured lacquer reinforced with aluminum oxide. Plan on 23.31 sq ft per carton (item VC-303).

Its standard width suits bedrooms and living rooms first, with hallways and offices close behind.

- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.
