From Johnson Hardwood’s Vortis Norden Home line, Mysa is an WPC vinyl plank flooring. Vortis Norden Home draws on Scandinavian design: a water-resistant WPC core, 12 mm thickness, 30-mil wear layer, 8.85-inch planks with embossed-in-register texture and a Välinge 5G locking system. Johnson lists Mysa with a light color tone, medium variation from plank to plank and a low gloss level. Dimensions: 8.85″ wide, 12mm thick (10.5mm WPC Core + 1.5mm Pad), 30 Mil Wear Layer wear layer. Length: 72″ (6′ Nominal). Surface: registered embossing (EIR); finish: 30 mil wear layer; edge: beveled edge. It can be installed by valinge 5g dry. Color and Appearance

Johnson lists Mysa as a light color tone with medium color variation between planks, and a registered embossing surface. Registered embossing means the texture follows the printed grain, so knots and grain lines feel real, not just look real. Johnson does not publish a written color description, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide.

Construction

WPC vinyl is fully synthetic, so it is not affected by humidity the way wood is. The thicker WPC core and attached pad help with sound and comfort, which is useful for upstairs rooms and condos.
