Johnson Hardwood Cellar House Charbono

Overview

Johnson Hardwood Cellar House Charbono is a rigid core (SPC) vinyl plank from Johnson Hardwood’s Cellar House series. A dense stone-polymer core keeps the plank stable, a printed wood-look layer sits under a 20 mil wear layer, and an attached pad is already built in. Planks are 7-1/8″ wide and 60″ long.

Specifications

Color and Appearance

Johnson lists Charbono as a light color tone with low color variation between planks, and a embossed surface. Johnson does not publish a written color description, so we recommend seeing a sample in our showroom or at home before you decide.

Construction

SPC (stone-polymer composite) cores are very dense, so the planks resist denting and stay flat over minor subfloor imperfections. Johnson markets this series with its WaterShield water-resistant construction. It is a practical choice for kitchens, laundry rooms, rentals and homes with pets.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness and install to the manufacturer’s guidelines. Johnson lists these methods: Valinge 2G. Learn more about our flooring installation.

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly.
• Damp-mop with a pH-neutral cleaner. Avoid steam mops, wax and oil soaps.
• Wipe up spills promptly, even on water-resistant floors.
• Use felt pads under furniture and avoid rubber-backed mats, which can discolor vinyl.

Warranty Summary

Johnson lists this floor with a Limited Lifetime Residential warranty. Warranty coverage depends on proper installation, care and use, and has exclusions. Read the full terms on Johnson Hardwood’s warranty page.

Can I see a sample before I buy?

Yes. Ask us to set aside a sample at our Woodland Hills showroom, or request a free in-home estimate and we will bring samples so you can see the color in your own light.

Is it waterproof?

The vinyl planks themselves are not damaged by water, but water can still get under the floor at edges and seams. Check the warranty terms for exact coverage, and ask us about bathrooms and laundry rooms.

Do you install Johnson Hardwood flooring?

Yes. Our installers handle subfloor checks, acclimation, installation, trim and transitions.

Printed and embossed floors repeat their visuals across planks, and colors can differ from samples between production runs; screens and lighting change how a floor looks. Please view a physical sample before ordering.
