About this floor
Urban Floor Chêne Champagne
Champagne: warm-neutral oak from Urban Floor's Chêne collection
Champagne is a color in Urban Floor's Chêne collection, a 7.5″ European oak engineered floor. Urban Floor places it in the warm-neutral range, a safe choice when you want oak that goes with both cool and warm décor.
Look and design
Urban Floor describes Champagne as having visible grain and character marks that keep it from looking plain, with moderate color variation. The surface is wire-brushed with micro-bevelled edges, and boards run random up to 86″.
Construction and specs
It is 1/2″ thick with a 2mm European oak wear layer on a multi-ply cross-grain core and a lacquered finish. A box covers 27 sq ft; item CHE-643-CHM. Urban Floor rates it for high foot traffic and backs the finish for 35 years.
Where it works best
Dining rooms, hallways, living areas and bedrooms. With float and glue listed, it can go over a slab after a moisture test.
Installed by our own crews
Urban Floor lists float, glue, or nail/staple, so we can match almost any subfloor. Our crews test moisture over concrete and acclimate the boards. Learn more about hardwood installation, browse Urban Floor, or start at Glamour Flooring.
