“The Lacey Act requires that manufacturers declare the species and country of origin on all woods imported into the United States. This law was enacted to prevent deforestation around the world. The California Air Resources Board (CARB) regulates production of the lumber once it has been harvested and is aimed at cleaning up product emissions. Compliance with the ATCM, commonly referred to as CARB Phase 2 in the industry, must be third party certified, and then certified by the state’s Air Resources Board.”https://mamrefloor.com/our-story/
This was a small 500 sqft job with a staircase of 15 steps. We had to float the floor due to it being wavy and then we feathered it. We also used the baseboard as a skirt for the stair case. A job like this one normally takes about 3/4 days.
- Day one Demo
- Day two floating/ Cuts for steps
- Day three Wood flooring install
- baseboards and cleaning
