Santolina: aged-look French oak from the Mediterranean collection

Santolina is one of the Mediterranean colors from California Classics, an 8″ French oak engineered floor. Choose it if you like the look of an old European floor: smoked grain, softened edges and a low sheen.

Look and design

California Classics double-smokes Mediterranean's oak to deepen and age the grain, then lightly scrapes the boards and hand-carves the edges and ends. The result is a floor with gently uneven plank edges rather than crisp machine lines. There's no published color description for Santolina, so compare it beside the other Mediterranean colors in person.

Construction and specs

Planks are 75″ long (75% long boards), 9/16″ thick, with a 4mm French oak top layer. The finish is 8 coats of aluminum-oxide enhanced Valspar urethane in low gloss. Item number MCST032.
