Monet: textured L'artiste oak from Urban Floor
Monet is named for the founder of Impressionism and sits in Urban Floor's artist-inspired L'artiste by Timbertop series. Unlike its smooth sibling Matisse, Monet has a wire-brushed surface, which adds texture and hides everyday wear.
Look and design
Urban Floor lists a matte sheen, moderate color variation and micro-bevelled edges on 9.5″ planks that run up to 96″ long. The brushing opens the grain slightly, so the floor feels more rustic underfoot than a smooth board. No color description beyond that is published, so view it in person.
Construction and specs
It is 13/16″ thick with a 6mm European oak wear layer on a cross-finger core, finished in Bona Natural UV urethane. Coverage is 25.32 sq ft per box; item ART-MONET Plus. Urban Floor rates it for high foot traffic and backs the finish for 50 years.
Where it works best
