Specifications

Color and Appearance

Urban Floor does not publish a written description for Elephant, so we recommend seeing a sample in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The top layer can be screened and recoated to refresh the finish.

Installation

Our crews check your subfloor for moisture and flatness, acclimate the flooring, and install it to Urban Floor’s published instructions. Learn more about our hardwood flooring installation.

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.

• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Warranty Summary

Urban Floor lists a 25-year finish warranty. Coverage depends on proper installation, care and use. Read the full terms on Urban Floor’s warranty page.
