About this floor
Provenza Old World Toasted Sesame
Overview
Toasted Sesame is one of the colors in Provenza’s Old World collection, made as an Oak engineered hardwood. Provenza’s smoking and carbonizing process, plus wire-brushing and hand scraping, gives Old World its antique feel. Size: 7.44″ wide, 5/8″ thick. Lengths: random lengths up to 72″. Grade: heavy character; surface: knots, cracks, extreme color variation; finish: UV cured oil. Installation: glue down, staple, float. Provenza lists a 25-year residential finish and lifetime residential construction warranty for this collection. Coverage is 29.76 sq ft per box. Manufacturer item number: PRO634. Visit our Woodland Hills showroom to see Toasted Sesame in person, or request pricing and availability.
Color and Appearance
Provenza does not publish a written description for Toasted Sesame, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The top layer can be screened and recoated to refresh the finish.
