From Somerset’s Character line, Hickory Driftwood is a hickory solid hardwood; also made as solidplus engineered hardwood. Somerset makes its solid and SolidPlus floors in the USA from Appalachian lumber it grades, dries and mills itself. Size: 3-1/4″ , 4″ , 5″ wide, 1/2″, 3/4″ thick. It is listed with surface smooth, finish Ultimate UV-cured aluminum oxide/urethane. Installation: per somerset’s solid and engineered installation guide; we confirm the method at your estimate. Construction
Solid hardwood is one piece of wood from top to bottom, so it can be sanded and refinished many times over its life. It is nailed or stapled over a wood subfloor and is not recommended directly over concrete. Somerset also makes this color as SolidPLUS engineered flooring, a multi-ply engineered board that is more stable and can go over a slab.

Care
- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.

Warranty.
