Overview

From SLCC Flooring’s Solids line, Cordova is an acacia solid hardwood. Each plank measures 3.5″, 4.75″(mixed) wide and 3/4″ thick, with a Solid wood top layer, in 48″ random lengths. It is listed with surface hand scraped distressed, edge 4-side rolled bevel. Installation: glue down, nail down. Coverage is 20.35 sq ft per box. Solid hardwood is one piece of wood from top to bottom, so it can be sanded and refinished several times over its life. Manufacturer item number: S-COR-01. SLCC does not publish a written description for Cordova, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.

Construction

Solid hardwood is milled from a single piece of wood, so it can be sanded and refinished many times. It is nailed or stapled over a wood subfloor and is not recommended directly over concrete.

Installation

Care

• Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
• Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
• Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
• Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.
