From SLCC Flooring’s Preserve line, Forest House is an acacia engineered hardwood. Plank specs: 4.5″ wide, 2mm top layer, Random Length up to 42″. Installation: floating, glue down, nail down. It is listed with grade ABC, surface hand scraped distressed, edge micro-beveled. Coverage is 32.55 sq ft per box. Engineered construction puts a real-wood top layer over a cross-layered core, so it moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity. Construction

Care
- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.
