Eleanor is one of the colors in Monarch Plank’s Regent collection, made as a European oak engineered hardwood. Regent is prime-grade European oak with very little knotting, in refined neutral tones aimed at modern interiors. Size: 7-1/2″ wide, 5/8″ thick, 4 mm top layer; lengths of 23″–96″ (84% full-length boards) length). Grade: prime; surface: smooth; finish: UV urethane, ultra-matte. Eleanor has a smooth surface, with a ultra-matte finish. Monarch Plank does not publish a written description for this color, so we recommend seeing it in person in our showroom or at home before you decide. Because it is real wood, every plank is different.
Construction
Engineered construction pairs a real hardwood wear layer with a cross-layered core. It moves less than solid wood through Southern California’s dry Santa Ana winds and seasonal humidity changes. The 4 mm top layer leaves material for future sanding and refinishing.

- Sweep or vacuum (hard-floor setting) regularly to remove grit.
- Clean with a barely damp mop and a cleaner made for finished wood floors. Never wet-mop or steam.
- Use felt pads under furniture and mats at entries.
- Keep indoor humidity steady to limit seasonal gaps.
